What is the difference between the Active Living Residence, the Cognitive Care Center, and the Rehabilitation Program?

Every person ages differently. That’s why the Hogar offers specialized care settings designed to meet each resident’s individual needs.

Active Living Residence

Designed for older adults without cognitive impairment or with mild cognitive decline, with or without physical dependency. Residents receive comprehensive medical care 24 hours a day while enjoying full access to all facilities and services. The program emphasizes active living through social events and a wide range of physical, recreational, cultural, intellectual, and cognitive activities.

Cognitive Care Center

Designed for individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia. The center offers personalized cognitive stimulation programs tailored to each resident’s abilities, pace, and needs, with the goal of preserving independence for as long as possible. The environment has been specifically designed to support orientation, comfort, and autonomy.

Rehabilitation Program

Provides comprehensive medical care together with individualized rehabilitation therapies following hospitalization, surgery, or other health events. Personalized treatment plans help residents recover physical function while supporting their emotional and overall well-being.
